Growing up in Malaysia, we learned to eat fresh and spicy food daily at a young age. I began Cindy's Clean Cuisine because the food today is packed with salt, oil, refined sugar, and chemical preservatives.

Flashing back just 30 years ago, I didn't appreciate the fresh, clean, simple, and tasty food that I grew up eating. Now, it is so difficult to find natural flavors in food when I finally have learned the importance of eating healthy but still want to keep the food packed with flavors. That's when I realized that staying healthy doesn't mean losing the rich flavors of the food I grew up with. Therefore, I decided to create food rich in layers of flavor, but without all the downsides of the typical processed food. Best of all, this is the same basic recipe from my childhood in Malaysia, with a few healthier alternatives, without losing any of the original rich flavors.

Cindy's Clean Cuisine always tries our best to use natural ingredients whenever possible without destroying the delectable flavors. Our special blend of spices and fresh vegetables includes celery, shallots, garlic, and lemongrass to provide richness in flavor. In addition, we strive for the right balance of sweetness by adding natural sugar from fruits instead of the ubiquitous refined sugar or corn syrup used in most processed foods.
